Joe Waskom of the University of Washington finished second in the men's 1,500 meters final in a personal best time of 3:35.32 on Saturday at Hayward Field. Waskom doesn't have the World Championships Standard but he has accumulated enough points to make the U.S. team and compete next month at Budapest, Hungary.
