Brian Fay, a junior at Washington representing Ireland, won the men's invitational 5,000 meters elite section in a personal-best and collegiate-leading 13:16.52 at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Cougar Stadium at Azusa Pacific University. Fay improved from his indoor-best 13:24.0 that he achieved in February at the Husky Classic at the Dempsey Indoor facility.
